Meetings and all!
Pictures under way-I have to get them from my other machine. Meanwhile, the next meeting will be in March 2011, at the Victorian house Museum on Main Street, in Emmetsburg.
Stay tuned for details.
Here is a picture of our eldest member, Mr. L. M. Greiner. At age 102, he just took out another ten year radio license, and is seen here inspecting a gyroscope motor.

Meet us at the fair!
Now until July 25, you can come see us at the Palo Alto County Fair, where we run a booth. A volunteer will be on hand nearly all of the time to answer your questions and talk "historical times" with.
See you there!
See you there!

The time has come
With everybody having a blog these days it seems, it's time that we at the Palo Alto County Historical Society start bragging a little about our doings.
We have a very nice museum complex, including a museum of early Palo Alto County life, an annex complete with a genuine pioneer log cabin and early butcher shop, and a Victorian house, all done up to reflect the late 1800's to early 1900's in Emmetsburg, Iowa.
Some pictures are to follow, and of course videos and snippets of our interesting programs.
In Emmetsburg, this is the music to play!
Cheers!
